The screen of my laptop broke off from the keyboard. I took it to Optima to see if it could be saved. For £30 they checked it out, sourced the parts and gave me a quote to repair it. In the end the repair price was not worth it for a 6 year old laptop so I didn't go ahead. Still, I would use this company again as they are professional, trustworthy and nice to deal with.

Had a 6 year laptop and broke the screen. Optima found the replacement screen which was not easy and replaced within 5 days. They actually replaced the screen within 1 hour of receiving it. Good service and well priced

I have always used Optima Computers for my intermittent technical I.T. issues and am now so pleased they are offering an ongoing service combining regular lap top servicing, unlimited I.T help and support when needed ( which is totally invaluable now so much of my work is on line), as well as constant virus scanning and removal, and back up of my files onto their servers. An unmet market need and I’m happy to be utilising it with them as their customer service is always excellent ( thank you Krish!) and they are so reasonably priced and knowledgable

The service provided by Optima is professional and courteous. I had a tricky problem with my laptop and Optima staff took a lot of trouble to address the issues. Management, front of house staff and engineers are all knowledgeable and quick to respond to enquiries. Clear and concise explanations concerning the issues with the laptop were provided both by telephone and in person by Optima staff. Highly recommended.

Khrishnan from Optima installed my new iMac desktop and transferred ten years of data from my old Mac to my new one today. It took about three hours to do together with setting up and installing some new software. The process was trouble free and smoothly undertaken. Khrish provided succinct and clear advice and guidance throughout. Altogether a very satisfactory experience. To be recommended.

He upgraded my existing computer and changed my hardware to the new system. I was obviously nervous that it should all go well as it is my work laptop. I would highly recommend!Took my laptop in to repair major water damage after dropping half a bottle of water all across my keyboard.I first spoke to Khrish on the phone and we as very polite and friendly and explained the whole process to me including what my choices would be if the water damage cleaning didn't work. Lot's of other companies won't give you ball park figures or explain the process but Optima did which was very helpful.I then took the laptop in to the shop and was greeted straight away, again very friendly and welcoming. Khrish came and booked my laptop in and again explained the process.I was kept informed the whole way along, including pictures, and after at first thinking that the damage was irreparable, Khrish tried the clean again and it worked.From beginning to end I couldn't be more happy with the service I received from Khrish and Optima and I would definitely use them again if needed!!

I had a very successful afternoon with Khrish who managed to not only transfer all the contents from my seven year old existing computer to my brand new machine, and get me set up with up to date Microsoft office, he then even managed to get the new computer to be able to print on my even older present Printer which still prints fine, but was purchased in the era of windows 7 so had no obvious drivers for windows 10. He did a brilliant job!

This review to to say thank you to Khrish, who helped out of a dire situation, and is still guiding me when I need it.I had not been informed by Plusnet that my email server madasafish, (owned by Plusnet) was too old to have any filters on it. A few weeks ago i started to receive, every few seconds, what seemed to be ransom emails called Lethudian..thousands of them poured in to all my devices, so I re-started my desk top computer, only to find that ALL my data had been removed.I was left with the microsoft screen and various apps.I had backed up my many work folders, but not every document, and most importantly NOT ANY ofmy email folders. Some photos were in the cloud, but not all, and as an amateur photographer this was devastating. I am not tech minded at all, and did not realise email folders could be backed up easily. All of my many clients data had disappeared too.Gutted and panicking that my business was ruined, I found the Optima website, spoke with Khrish, who was so calming,and reassuring and said he was sure he could do something for me.I purchased a new desk top, and took that and my old tower to Khrish, who worked on data retrieval for a few days.I have my folders back, a lot of my email folders, tho strangely not the most recent ones I have worked on, nearly all my photos, even tho finding them is sometimes a challenge. So I can continue with my businessKhrish completely set up my new computer, and it is protected to the hilt! I have also taken up their monitoring service so I can be assured of help at anytime, which i really do needI cannot explain my almost childlike relief when I went to collect my new computer, and I cant thank Khrish enough for his professional and thorough helpPLEASE back up everything you have NOW!!Vicki Wellswells & trembath

I couldn't be more satisfied with the Optima team. Three years ago they rebuilt my laptop and more than doubled its lifespan, but due to its age, faults are to be expected. I contacted Optima because my Wi-Fi suddenly stopped working. When the laptop was in their hands, they stayed in regular contact with me, informing me of the diagnosis and the possible options for the next step. The issue was resolved swiftly and was cost-effective. Highly recommended.

I took my laptop in as it was running very very slowly - Optima suggested replacing the old HDD with a new SSD - this did the trick and my machine is now faster than it ever was. All this was done in roughly 24 hours

Well before "Home working" became the norm in 2020 they set up Remote Access for our 3 separate offices in London, Leeds & Warwick.On the very few occasions we encouter any issues they are extremly fast in rectifying any problems. I like the fact that turn round is quick and you are given a clear, user-focused explanation of the problems discovered and the options for resolution - including (as in this instance) the option not to proceed with what could have been an expensive repair to an ageing machine where replacement or alternative kit bought elsewhere provided the best outcome. It's great to know such a company is there for you when your tech lets you down.
